The Sundowners Car Club of Champaign-Urbana was created in 1992 to promote fellowship among car enthusiasts, their families, and the community. Members enjoy planning and enjoying car cruises and shows to promote the hobby. Ownership of a special interest car or truck is not a requirement for membership.
The Sundowners Car Club of Champaign-Urbana was co-founded by Pat Feldkamp and Gene Shelton in 1992. Meetings were first held at Lincoln Square in Urbana. Meetings are now held at Urbana Gardens Family Restaurant - Lincoln Ave and Killarney in Urbana on the first Wednesday of each month. Social hour is from 5:30 - 6:30 PM and the meeting starts at 6:30 PM.

Thanks to all Sundowners Club Members for their overwhelming generosity in donating to an 11-year old Aspergers student for camp. There is one counselor for every 3 children to help them adjust to this illness which relates to Autism but on a more extreme and violent level.
